Lindbergh’s famous reputation as “South Africa’s own Serengeti” is due to the wide open Savannah plains dotted with magnificent acacias and abounding in wildlife. Animals such as Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Oryx, Red Hartebeest, Springbuck, Impala, Blesbuck, Kudu, Eland and Warthog among others roam our plains freely.
To ensure a safe filming environment for both cast and crew, Lindbergh has maintained its policy of keeping only non-predatory, non threatening wildlife. The likes of Lion, Leopard and Cheetah, as well as Hippo and Elephant are noticeably absent. Yet, should your production require it, animal wranglers will source any animal at a moment’s notice.
A unique feature on the estate is the fact that it is a reserved nesting site for the highly endangered Cape Vulture species.
